Emma chuckled. “Well my game is much more fun, you gotta admit. But, no, believe it or not there’s actually rules to this game.”
“Your game does seem more exciting, but I can’t tell for sure until I understand the actual game!” She giggled and looked back to the field.
Emma then launched into a series of rules of the game, pointing out the bases, explaining how outs worked. She smiled, happy to be in the company of a friend. “So, do you get it a little bit? Honestly, if you just watch for a few minutes it makes a lot more sense.”
Ariel nodded as she explained. Remembering everything she explained was impossible for her, but she got the gist of it. “Hmm, okay. I think I understand!”
